This kit has enough stuff in it for many jobs, and is well worth buying it, you could do several computers with it. A Better Look at Things

The Vizo Starlet Cable Binding Kit comes in a fairly easy to open plastic clamshell package, it is only sealed in a couple spots. You can see the braiding through the front of the package.

The back of the lists all the specs and features as I have already listed in the above section.

Opening it up we can see the actual kit and all that it comes with.

The Vizo Starlet Cable Binding Kit comes with everything you need to do the basic cable binding, if you wish to use the heat shrink tubing you will of course need a heat source for that. The braiding is the standard nylon braid that seems like it will last a long time and you will have no problems with it coming apart. The only negative I can see is that there really are not enough zip ties included compared to the length of the braiding itself. You can easily do several computers with all the braiding but you will need more zip ties.

Installation, Testing and Comparison

Well for installation you need some messy wires, we all have those. I decided I wanted to bind all my motherboard header wires together to make them look a bit neater in my case, and I also did my USB cables as well.

Here is the mobo header wires with just the zip ties and braiding on it.

Here is basically the finished product, all neat with the heat shrink tubing attached.

And finally here are all the wires inside my case with everything else installed.

The installation process is easy and takes a short amount of time to do one bunch of wires. Just cut to length, slip the wires through the braiding and add the zip ties, the heat shrink tubing is optional but it does make it look more professional and neater.

It is nice that Vizo included various sizes of braiding as the wires that are in your computer are all different sizes. Other installations can be a bit more difficult, like using it on your power supply wires where you would most likely have to take the connectors off to install the braid and the heat shrink tubing.

As for there not being enough zip ties, this really isn’t much of a problem, I personally get my zip ties at the local dollar store, I get 100 zip ties of varying size for one dollar, so they are pretty cheap to come by if need be.

Summary:

All in all the Vizo Starlet Cable Binding Kit is well worth it, there is more than enough braiding to do all your wires and then some. The kit is easy to use and makes everything look more professional and much neater in the end. This is one of those must have products for all the modders out there, and even if you aren’t a modder you can very well make good use from this kit.
