The Department of Southern Affairs (NOSR) of the Ministry of Science and Technology recently held a symposium in Ho Chi Minh City on “Application of NASA’s patented Airocide technology in the conservation and processing of agricultural products”, With the aim of helping companies in the South access new processing and conservation technologies. Not only healthcare industry that technology is transforming, but also the online gaming industry, now online casinos have more advanced games, visit topauscasinos.org to review casino games.
Developed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Airocide technology can destroy up to 99.99% of microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, Molds, yeasts) in agri-food products, thus extending shelf life. A representative of the American company Akida Holdings LLC reported that Airocide was marketed 12 years ago, and used by many players in the agri-food industry.
Pham Ngoc Minh, an assistant to the Minister of Science and Technology, said that such a technology is very interesting for Vietnamese agri-food producers and exporters because Vietnam has a tropical climate conducive to the development of microbes, bacteria and other viruses. Conservation devices using Airocide have been experimented in places such as the Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute (FAVRI) and the Biotechnology Center of the Agricultural Genetics Institute – AGI) to preserve fruit, including sweet potato red and strawberry.
On this occasion, the Department of Southern Affairs (NOSR), the American company Akida Holdings LLC and the Vietnam-US Technology and Equipment Company signed an agreement to set up a program to apply the Airocide technology in agricultural production in the Mekong Delta.
