AeroCool Infinite Drive Review

A Better Look at Things

As usual Brando Workshop packed everything very well and it all arrived safely to me. The front of the box for the Aerocool Infinite features a nice picture of the device itself and lists the main features.

The back of the box has a more in depth look at all the features with a diagram pointing to each feature on the device.

Opening the box up we find everything packed very well in form fitting styrofoam.

The Aerocool Infinite is pretty much assembled for you when you receive it, you just need to install it. Along with the Infinite comes the instructions sheet, USB cable for the Infinity Drive, two keys and a driver disc.

The Aerocool Infinite fits into the standard 5.25 drive bay, and features the card reader, USB ports and audio jacks as well. There are also power and activity LEDs and the lock for the Infinity Drive on the front.

The Infinity Drive itself just slides out when the key is turned to the unlock position.

The Infinity Drive is made of aluminum so it should last quite a while and protect your 2.5 HDD as well. The front panel of the Infinite is plastic as is most bay devices, and things are arranged to easily access them with nothing getting in the way of the other while plugged in, in other words it’s not cramped and jammed with stuff like some all-in-one’s I have seen.

The entire system seem very sturdy and well made, my experience with Aerocool products has shown me that they do make a fairly decent, quality product so it is to be expected that this is well made.
