Unboxing pt3
As I mentioned the M4 does feature a full auto mode where you just need to hold the trigger down and in seconds the magazine is empty… The left side of the gun features a thumb switch selector that has three modes, safe, semi and auto. Safe is safe mode, the gun cannot fire, semi is semi-automatic where each trigger pull fires one round and auto is full auto mode.
On the back of the gun, below the rear site is the charging handle, pulling on this opens the port cover which gives you access to the hop-up feature of the M4.
What is Hop-up you might be wondering, well here’s an excerpt from Mr Airsoft Blog:
‘Hop-up devices are used on airsoft devices to apply more backspin to pellets. As stated, the backspin allows pellets to fly farther and fall less. Since the pellets are light and wind ultimately affects the trajectory, pellets can still fly off to the left or right. Hop-up can be adjusted to fit the weight of the BB, or just to do anything the user wishes.’
You can read the full page entry to learn more details about hop-up on the blog HERE.
The front, top, sides and bottom of the rifle or the hand guard features side system rails for easily adding accessories like scopes, foregrip, sling and can be adjusted to the users specifications or comfort.
The clip fits into the bottom of the gun where it mates to allow the bb’s to be fed into the M4. There is a magazine release button as well that quickly allows for the clip to be dropped and another put in.
