A Better Look at Things

The packaging for the Apiotek InnerOne is very simplistic, no real need for actual padding or anything, the product is essentially a pad itself. Both sides of the package features a cutout where you can see and feel the InnerOne, and there is lots of specs, features and information listed as well.
This review is a hard one to do because it is hard to describe this product to you, you have to feel it and see it to actually understand it. The material is the type that when you push on it with your finger it leave an indentation and it stays there for a while and slowly disappears. The material feels almost like foam, but yet it is a cloth material, very interesting indeed.
The InnerOne features dual zippers and a reflective strip along the edge as well, the zippers are actually not touching your laptop once it is inside, so you won’t have to worry about scratches either. The zippers themselves feel very sturdy and the pulls are nice and durable.
Unzipping the InnerOne it lies essentially flat, with a very soft almost ‘furry’ cloth surface on the inside to protect your laptop and keep it comfortable. It’s actually a micro fiber lining, the same thing that would be used to clean LCD screens, so it’s that gentle on your laptop.
There is a small lip of material on the inside, this is what separates the zipper from your notebook.
This thing is extremely lightweight, and I mean I was actually shocked by just how light it is, and it is very durable, and yes I did pull on it to see if it might rip, but nope. The entire thing seems very well made with protecting your notebook as it’s top priority.
Installation, Testing and Comparison
Installation is fairly easy, just place you laptop inside and zip it up.
Notice I said ‘fairy easy’, well it actually is very easy, but only after the first time putting your laptop in the InnerOne. The first time is a bit of a pain, but once the InnerOne stretches and conforms to your laptop it is much easier to get it in there.

As for it being shock proof, well I’ll just trust them on that, I wasn’t going to go throwing my only laptop about like a football… but for it being waterproof, yes I can say it is, I did throw a bit of water on it to see what would happen and it just beaded up and rolled off.
Other than that there isn’t much to say about this product, there are no bad points about it, at least I couldn’t find any at all… it does what it is supposed to do.

This thing is just plain cool, it’s kinda like a plain old laptop bag that has been retrofitted with the latest technological advances to protect your laptop. We’ve got memory foam for protection, and a super micro fiber lining to even protect the surface of your beloved laptop, I mean I’ve seen quite a few laptop bags in my time, but none that is really this advanced in it’s design.
Summary:
The Apiotek InnerOne is a great stand-alone notebook bag for those times when you only need to have your laptop with you but still want protection for it. It’s subtle and stylish, and is very well made, it seems to be able to last quite some time. Pair the InnerOne with a bag and you have a great combination of protection and portability for your laptop.
