I’ve got a couple netbooks and a full
sized laptop, but I’ve never liked the touchpad interface for any
long periods of use. I use my main PC for everything and of course I
use a mouse, so with my netbooks and laptops I also use a mouse, it’s
an old wired Logitech one, but it works.
Bluetooth has become the universal
wireless standard for many things, and many netbooks come with it
built-in now so why not take advantage of it for more than just
audio. Today for review MobielFun has sent me over the Bluetooth Mini
Mouse, it’s a mouse, it’s bluetooth, and it’s small and portable, and
it works great.

Installation,
Testing and Comparison:
The back of the Bluetooh Mini
Mouse slides off to reveal the battery cover, just put two AAA
batteries in and you’re ready to go, and of course you need to turn
it on!
I
used the Bluetooth Mini Mouse with my Acer
Aspire One D250 netbook which doesn’t have Bluetooth built in, but I’ve got a very
tiny BT dongle that I use. You can check out the BT dongle review HERE over at iGadgetLife. It’s actually called the Atomic
Pico Bluetooth Dongle and I got it from MobileFun as well for review, and it really is the
smallest BT dongle out there today..
To enabled pairing on the mouse
you just push the button on the bottom then connect with your
computer, it worked easily the first time with no problems. The mouse
also re-connected automatically when I turned the computer off and
then back on again which was nice.
Using the mouse I found it works
on most any surface, table top included. When I use a mouse with my
laptop I normally don’t use a mousepad, I just put it on whatever
surface the computer is on. I used it on my wooden table and also on
a mousepad, it worked fine with both. Tracking is fine, no skipping
or anything like that at all.
Battery life seems fine, I put two
new batteries in and used my netbook for several hours with no
changes, but I’m sure the mouse doesn’t draw too much power so good
batteries should last quite a while I would think.
Summary
and Comments:
The Bluetooth Mini Mouse is a
great little product really, I like it quite a bit, it just works.
Since many netbooks and laptops
have built-in Bluetooth you can just easily connect this mouse to it
and you’re ready to go.
For an inexpensive product it does
what it’s supposed to do and it works great, if you’re looking for an
inexpensive BT mouse then I can recommend you take a look at this one
first…
