Casino style games are very popular these days and many companies are putting them out. Today for review I have a casino themed game, but it is more like Tetris than really a casino game. The game is called Cash Out, and it is from a little company called Big Toe Software. This is a really small game, downloadable, and it’s honestly kind of boring. I think you really have to be into this type of thing to enjoy it as much as the description thinks you will. Read on to learn a bit more…

A Better Look at Things
/Screenshots:
After you install the Cash Out and click the desktop icon you are greeted with the time-limit screen, you have 60 minutes of play on the trial mode. You can always register it to get full functionality.
After you enter your registration information, if you choose to register it, you get to see a ‘Success!’ screen.
The next screen would be the main screen, you have a few choices here. There are three types of gameplay, Classic, Challenge and Relaxed. Classic mode has different level you can gain, Challenge mode is timed and Relaxed mode is just playing till you get bored.
Clicking the ‘options’ button on the main screen takes you to a sparse menu, you can choose the sound effects volume, resolution, fullscreen or not, view the credits and a brief help screen.
The actual game board is divided into sections with half the screen being taken up by the actual play screen. On the left side you can see the type of game you are playing, your score, a large Hint button and the button to bring up the menu.
When you decided to finish you get to see a congratulatory screen with any achievements you might have gotten.
In the next section I have six in game movies for you to check out. Overall the gameplay is very slow, it is actually boring to a point. You can move the rows right to left and up and down, the object is to match at least three pieces to make them go away.

Summary:
Honestly, unless you really like puzzle games and casino themed games I would stay away from this one. It is just really boring, I tried to play it, I sat and played and played on the different levels but there’s nothing really new here. Maybe I like fast paced games better, this one just seems to move very slowly for me, I just can’t get into it at all.
DragonSteelMods gives Cash Out a 2 out of 5 score.
Pros:
-Small size
-Colorful
-Interesting combination of games
Cons:
-Slow gameplay
-Kind of boring
-Combination of games, not much originality
I would like to thank BigToe Software for the chance to review Cash Out and VGSmart for their continued support of DSM.
