A little bit ago I reviewed some really great fans from Noctua, today I have some more from Coolink, Noctua actually sent them to me with their fans. They sent me three fans, sizes 120mm, 92mm and 80mm, also they sent the Coolink Silent Savior HDD cooler and a pack of Anti-Vibration bolts as well. The fans themselves look pretty cool, clear frame with blue blades, the bolts are silicone, and the HDD Savior is aluminum with a Coolink 80mm fan mounted on it. Sound interesting, read on…

Coolink Silent Savior
The Coolink Silent Savior HDD-Cooler features super-silent operation (9-16dB/A), outstanding reliability, excellent cooling performance and dead easy installation.
Many HDD coolers with multiple smaller fans or cheap sleeve-bearing fans quickly turn into annoying sources of noise. The Silent Savior is equipped with a large Coolink SWiF 801-L quality fan whose high precision double ball bearing ensures excellent longevity. Thanks to its 80mm size, the SWiF 801-L achieves a whopping 30m/h at only 9-16dB/A – more than enough to cool a HDD.
Extremely silent operation (9-16dB/A) and excellent longevity thanks to the use of a Coolink SWiF 801-L quality fan with high-precision double ball bearing and 20mm height.
30m/h airflow ensures super cooling of your HDDs electronics, which is crucial to avoid drive failures and data loss.
Easy installation: Just screw the Coolink Silent Savior to the bottom side of your HDD, connect the fan and you’re done!
Works with all 3,5" HDDs (use 12V for 10.000RPM+ and 7V for 7200RPM or 5400RPM drives)

Anti Vibration Bolts
Did you know that minor vibrations emitted by fans can cause a significant, droning noise when transmitted to the case?
Coolink’s ultra-soft, highly durable Anti-Vibration Bolts effectively decouple the fans from the case and thereby help to reduce the system’s overall noise emission.
Extra-soft silicone for optimal decoupling
Highly durable and tear proof
Compatible with all fans and cases with standard mounting holes
Easy installation and removal
12 Anti-Vibration Bolts for up to 3 fans
Size (mm): (H) 26 mm

Ok, I’m going to dp this a bit differently form other reviews, the install info will be included in this section as well with each item.
First up the Coolink SwiF 80mm fan. The boxes for all of Coolinks’ products are interesting, they make you think of ice, or things cool, which is a good thing…while the back of the box lists the specs and features.
Opening the box we find not much included but a few fan screws for installation.
The fan itself is very unique looking, the blades are blue in color, and blue-purple depending on the light, the frame is an opaque, or frosted clear. The standard three pin connector is there all nicely sleeved.
I’ll be showing the installation pics of this in the next section, as I used the Coolink Anti-Vibration bolts to install it.

Next up we have the Anti-Vibration bolts, these come in an easy open blister pack, you can plainly see them through the front of the packaging, while the back has the features, info and basic instructions.
The bolts are blue in color, and very soft, pliable silicone, not much else to really say about them.
I installed the 80mm SWiF fan using the Anti-Vibration bolts onto my Coolermaster Centurion case, I did some modifications when I got the case, so that’s why the cut out is there.
Here’s a couple shots from the back of the fan, or inside the case.
Installation is very easy, just pull them through till they pop into place, that’s it, takes a couple seconds and you’re done. Much faster than using the standard screws, and no vibrations!

Next up is the Coolink SWiF 120mm fan, the box is essentially the same as the 80mm box, but there is a cutout window on the front of this box so you can get a peek at the fan.
The 120mm Coolink SwiF fan comes with mounting screws screws, molex pass through power connector and a PCI slot fan speed controller.
Here again the 120mm fan looks exactly the same as the 80mm version, just bigger…
For installation I used the Anti-Vibration bolts again and I used one of my own fan guards as Coolink did not supply any, maybe they should through in some blue fan guards…
All the Coolink fans are very quiet, and seem to move quite a bit of air around the case. I can’t say that I noticed a large drop in temps but I did notice a significant drop in the noise level after installing the Coolink fans.

The 92mm fan is up next, sadly to say that none of my five current systems use 92mm fans for anything, so I have some pics for you of the product but no installation pics.
Here again the 92mm box is the same as the 120mm box, a little window on the front so you can get a peek at the fan, with specs on the back.
The 92mm Coolink SwiF fan I received also included the PCI fan controller setup as well.
All the SwiF fans look the same essentially, it just depends what size you might need.

Last up is the Coolink Silent Savior hard drive cooler, the box for the Silent Savior resembles the boxes of the fans but with some different information on it.
Getting the Silent Savior out we find basically an 80mm Coolink SwiF fan mounted onto an aluminum custom frame, installation screws included as well, along with sleeved wires and three pin connector.
Installation is very easy, using the existing holes in your hard drive, you just mount the Silent Savior to it.
The only problem I found is that I lost a drive bay, the Silent Savior is rather thick, and extends into the next drive bay in my case. This might not be a problem for some, but I think for most that use multiple drives it will.
The Silent Savior is very quiet, basically a whisper while running. It did drop my hard drives temp by two degrees, not drastic but two degrees cooler is better than two degrees hotter!
Summary:
Taking all the Coolink products into consideration for the final score is what I had to do here, the only real drawback I found was with the Silent Savior where it takes up another drive bay. The Silent Savior itself performed well and cooled as it was supposed to. The Anti-Vibration bolts seem to do their job, and they are much easier than using conventional screws. The Coolink SwiF fans themselves are very quiet and will remain in my system, I am actually using two of the Coolink and one of the Noctua fans in my case right now, and it is very quiet in there, nice and quiet. Overall the Coolink products I received for review were all very good, they seemed well made and like they will last for a long time.
DragonSteelMods gives Coolink products a 5 out of 5 score.
Pros:
-Quiet
-Useful
-Performs well
Cons:
-Silent Savior takes up another hard drive bay
I would like to thank Noctua and Coolink for the chance to review their products.
