Dream Cheeky USB RC Car Review

A Better Look at Things

As we can see from the box the USB RC Car is actually from Dream Cheeky, I’ve reviewed a few things from them in the past and their products are good quality, if a bit off the wall…The box has lots of pictures, specs, features and requirements are listed as well.

The RC Car and its’ garage comes packaged in a protective plastic shell, inside the box we also find a CD with the software and drivers, a sheet of decals and a brief instruction sheet. The sheet of decals contains quite a few different ones to allow you to customize the RC Car to your liking.

The RC Car itself is a Mini Cooper, green in color with a checkerboard top. The wheels are rubber, and the car moves in all directions just as a real car would.

The bottom of the RC Mini Cooper features a trim dial that allows you to essentially align the front wheels to make the car go straight when you push the forward button. Of course you can adjust it for tricks or to make it just continue to do circles or donuts on your desk if you wish to…

On the back bumper of the car, inset in, are the charging connectors, these lineup with the connections inside of the garage to charge the car via your computers’ USB port.

The garage charging/transmitting station is pretty cool actually, you can have it sitting next to your PC or laptop and drive the car right out for some instant fun. It connects via your USB port and there is a red LED on the side that indicates charging which will turn off when the car is charged. Directly above the LED is a gray button that opens the garage door or you can just drive the car right out, the garage door will open with the force of the car hitting it.

Well that’s it for taking a look at it, so let’s move to the next section and check out the rest including a couple movies of the car in action…
