Installation and Testing pg1
Installation is done like any other motherboard, essentially empty the case out. I installed in my Coolermaster Centurion RC532 Pc case, more than ample room in there.
As I mentioned this has become my favorite board, as such my main system is installed in there.
Which consists of:
AMD X2 4200+ (Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro)
3 gigs of OCZ (2 gig plats and 1 gig gold)
BFG 7900GT OC
3 HDD’s (360 gigs on 2 sata and 1 ide)
2 DVD/RW DL Drives (Pioneer and Memorex)
Seasonic S-12 550Watt PSU
Yes, you’ll notice I can run 3 gigs, it runs at 2T but I can’t tell the difference actually. I was normally running only 2 gigs as my DFI would not let me run 3 gigs like that, or mixed ram. The ECS system is very stable and I have had no problems with it at all. My setup now actually feels faster than my DFI setup did, everything is just snappier, and quicker it seems.
