Flexible Full Sized Keyboard Review

Installation, Testing and Comparison

I had my Logitech S510 cordless keyboard on hand for comparison, the Brando Flexible Full Sized Keyboard is a little bit larger, but the Logitech is actually smaller than a standard keyboard so the Flexible Keyboard is right on.

As I mentioned earlier there are LEDs on the far right side as indicators, these light up red to let you know which keys are in use.

Since I have been using the Flexible Keyboard I have found that the keys are spaced a bit farther apart than most keyboards, this took a couple days to get used to but after the break in period it’s all good now…

Typing on the keys is actually very comfortable, the keys respond to pretty much any angle they are pressed at and they are very soft. The Brando Flexible Full Sized Keyboard is advertised as an ‘Air Touch’ keyboard and I can fully understand why, the keys offer almost no resistance and very responsive to the slightest touch. The Brando Flexible Full Sized Keyboard is also the quietest keyboard I have ever used, this thing is whisper quiet, I actually found myself typing harder to hear the sound of the keyboard to make sure I hit the keys.

Although there is really no way to adjust the angle of the Flexible Keyboard, the new trend is ‘Zero Degree’ typing, it is supposed to be better for you. Since I have a few keyboards already that utilize this ‘Zero Degree’ style the transition for me was very easy, but I do remember the first time, it took a while to get used to.

Using the Brando Flexible Full Sized Keyboard in everyday tasks is a breeze, besides the adjustment period there are no problems I encountered. Gaming on the Brando Flexible Full Sized Keyboard is just like and other, actually a bit easier as the keys seem more responsive to touch compared to others I own. I could see these keyboard being colored or themed and sold as Lan Party keyboards and Gamer keyboard easily, if not for the overall durability and portability of it, for the responsiveness of the keyboard itself.

Speaking of durability, I let my 11 month old son play with this for a while, he thought it was really cool and put it through quite a beating of dragging it around, throwing it and even chewing on it, the Brando Flexible Full Sized Keyboard is no worse for the wear and still works great.
