A Better Look at Things
Both the Gelaskins for the iPhone 3G and the 15” MacBook Pro arrive in similar packaging. They are both housed in a self-sealing clear plastic sleeve through which, the skin can be easily viewed.
On the front, the design’s name and creator’s name can be found. Located on the top right corner is the device model that the Gelaskin is designed for.
The back of the package touts the features of the Gelaskin line including Easy On, Easy Off, No Scratches and Portable Art Prints.
On the MacBook Pro version, there is a table indicating the various sizes available for the different MacBook types. Below this table are the application instructions.
On the lower left is a sampling of the various Gelaskin types and styles.
The back of the iPhone 3G Gelaskin has two panels with the features of this version, one panel describing the availability of a matching digital downloadable wallpaper and finally, a panel sampling some more Gelaskins.
Upon removal from the plastic sleeve, the MacBook Pro version rests on a backing paper with the 3M Controltac Logo found on the back.
The iPhone 3G model has application instructions and the skin on the same 3M Conroltac backing paper.
