Unboxing

The sample iPhone Portable Power Station arrived in a plain white box. Inside the box, one finds the iPhone Portable Power Station, a silicon case and an instruction sheet.

Unfortunately, the instruction sheet needs to be edited by someone who speaks English as a primary language. Luckily, there were several included pictures to figure out the proper usage of this device.

The iPhone Portable Power Station is all black and composed of a black shiny plastic material. Unfortunately, this material is also a magnet for fingerprints.

The base portion holds the iPhone connector used to dock the iPhone. This portion is hinged, so the iPhone can be charged or docked while standing or resting against the back portion of the Power Station.

The back portion is custom cut to surround the iPhone and allow access to all the buttons. This area also contains the lithium battery that powers the device. Unfortunately, this does seem like a removable battery, which would have been another great feature.

At the front of the base, there is an indicator light for charging status and the on/off button to the right of it.

The left side of the Power Station holds a dock connector input which accepts the power connection from either an AC outlet or a powered USB connection.

The iPhone Portable Power Station includes a thin silicon case to provide some additional protection for your iPhone while docked in the Power Station. It will protect the iPhone from some minor scratches, but will not save it from a fall, so be careful.
