A Better Look at Things

:

The packaging for the RVT-12025 is pretty much the same as the RVT-9225 is, it looks the same but with just some different information on it.

The RVT-12025 is a heat pipe based cooler with three U-shaped heatpipes and numerous aluminum fins. It’s actually very lightweight considering just how large it is, the fins are very thin, and they can bend easily if you’re not careful, but overall it’s made very well, and feels solidly made.

The fan is attached with rubber fasteners to help limit the vibration and thus reduce the overall noise of the fan.

There is no real base to this cooler like you would find on ‘traditional’ CPU coolers, the heatpipes are in direct contact with your CPU to promote better and more efficient heat transfer. The base appears to be flat and it has a somewhat decent final finish on it.

Included with the Cooler is the parts bag with parts to install on both AMD and Intel platforms, there’s also a pack of white thermal compound, 3-pin Molex adapter and air redirtecting ‘wing’ that attaches to the back of the cooler.
