Optical Liquid Wireless Mouse (Duck) Review

A Better Look at Things

First up, the box, oh well, just a plain white box, but in that box we find the special little mouse and it’s accessories.

The accessories include a USB charging cable to charge the built in batteries, the USB receiver and a short instruction sheet.

The USB receiver is about the size of a thumb drive actually, there is an LED on the top that stays solid green when powered on, but blinks with movement of the mouse. On the back of the receiver we find the connection button to connect the mouse to the receiver.

The USB charging cable that comes with the mouse is nice and long, and you can use the mouse while it is charging, so it becomes a corded mouse at that time, nice feature actually, you won’t be without a mouse while the batteries are charging like some other mice out there.

Well let’s check out the mouse itself, the liquid inside in an oil and water mixture actually. The color scheme works fairly well, but it would have been nice to see the front of the mouse match the water color. The Optical Liquid Wireless Mouse is the standard three button type with scroll wheel, good enough for the average ‘Joe’ out there.

On the bottom of the mouse is the 800dpi sensor, and there is even a little window to see the duck through as well. The Optical Liquid Wireless Mouse has tiny teflon feet, and there is a small button here as well for connecting the mouse to the receiver.

The Optical Liquid Wireless Mouse from Brando WorkShop is the size of most mice, but a little fatter in the palm rest, but not much.

On the very front of the mouse we find the charging port for the USB charger cable, it is located sort of under the buttons so as not to get in the way of using the mouse while it is charging.

Here are a few more assorted angle shots of the Optical Liquid Wireless Mouse from Brando WorkShop for you to check out, in all this is a cool little mouse, I just wish they had sent me the ‘Fish’ version instead….

The Optical Liquid Wireless Mouse from Brando WorkShop is actually heavy, but that is due to the liquid inside, some may not like this, but I personally like a heavy mouse. On my Logitech G5 mouse I use all the heaviest weights in the weight pack as I like the solid, weighty feel of it in my hand, like i have more control over it.

Overall the Optical Liquid Wireless Mouse from Brando WorkShop is very well made, even mice that cost a lot more don’t feel this solidly built.
