Unboxing

The NAS 220 comes in a brown box with pictures along with specs and features listed.

The NAS itself is packaged well with styrofoam and wrapped in a plastic bag basically.

In the box you’ll find the NAS itself, a driver/software CD, user guide, power supply and an Ethernet cable.

It’s called the BlackArmor and it’s all black in color. On the bottom of the front is the power button.

On the back you’ll find a cooling fan along with an identification label.

On the bottom are the two connections for USB, Ethernet and the power connection.

The NAS 220 is heavy, but it does have two hard drives pre-installed, this one has two 3tb drives for a total of 6tb in storage. It comes pre-configured for RAID 1, so you really only have 3tb capacity available for use. All in all the box seems very made, it’s mostly metal and sturdy construction.
