So this card isn’t too bad really, for gaming I wouldn’t use it though, but we knew that going into this review. A GT240 is not something you’ll want to use for gaming at high resolution with high settings that’s for sure. Yes you can use it with the settings turned down, but it won’t look as pretty..

Using it for an HTPC though it becomes a decent choice as it will play HD video fine, it’s virtually silent and it does have a relatively low power consumption.

DragonSteelMods gives the Sparkle Computer Corp GeForce GT240 a 4.5 out of 5 score.

• +No HDMI adapter needed
• +Low cost
• +Quiet
• +Relatively low power consumption
• +Small size
• +No extra power connections needed

Cons:

• -Not that good for gaming (as expected)
