Most people don’t think of mousepads
when they’re upgrading their computers, or even using them really, I
know many people that just use their desktop and no pad at all.
Personally I’ve come to realize that there is such a thing as a good
mousepad, and there are differences between them, surfaces, sizes,
and brands. A good mousepad can make a big difference between a good
computing experience and a not so good one. You can get pads in many
sizes, shapes, colors and materials, which you’ll choose depends on
your own personal preferences.
Today for review I’ve got the Ulti-mat
Seven F-X2 for review, it’s a smaller mousepad, made for those with
limited space on their desktops. Just because you don’t have much
room on your desktop though doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have the
luxury of using a high quality mousepad. The Seven F-X2 is an
excellent choice for a mousepad, it’s well made and very slick, my
mouse just glides across it effortlessly.
Ulti-mat is company that honestly I
hadn’t really heard of until they contacted me about reviewing their
products, and I’m happy they did, they’re sent me three pads to test
out, and so far the two I’ve tried are excellent, in both quality and
usefulness.

A
Better Look at Things:
The Ulti-mat Seven F-X2 comes
packaged in a combination cardboard and plastic packaging. The
cardboard slipcover has a bit of information listed about the pad
itself, and it covers the main plastic part that houses the pad.
The Seven F-X2 is basically solid
black with the Ulti-mat logo in the right corner in white, the
backing is a non-slip rubber.
It is a cloth pad really, more of
a hybrid style with a plastic coating on it, but yet it still remains
flexible.
Installation,
Testing and Comparison:
I used the Seven F-X2 with my
Microsoft Wireless X8 mouse.
As soon as I put the X8 on the pad
I noticed how slick it was, the X8 just glided across it with little
resistance.
Using it for everyday tasks was
fine, the X8 tracked perfectly on it.
Gaming on the Seven F-X2 was great
as well, the low resistance of the pad allows for quick smooth
movements, and here again the X8 tracked fine on the Seven F-X2 pad.
No matter what you’re doing,
everyday mundane tasks, surfing the web, or fragging your opponents,
the Seven F-X2 pad will allow you to do it effortlessly and with
ease.
I truly like the Seven F-X2, and
once I’m done testing all the pads I’ve got I might be going back to
it as my preferred pad.

an excellent mousepad, it’s small size allows it to fit on virtually

missing a movement I made.
