USB 2.0 VGA / DVI / HDMI multi-display Adapter Review

Installation, Testing and Comparison

For testing I hooked it up to my Vizio 47” HDTV that has both VGA and HDMI inputs on it, I used the Acer Aspire One netbook to do this, and it worked perfectly.

Installation is easy, pop the driver/software disc in and install it, plug the device into your USB port, choose which output you want and you’re ready to go.

Since I’ve got an HDTV I was hoping for HD output, but alas that didn’t happen, 1400×1050 is the max resolution, which still looked good on my TV.

I played some basic games, and watched some Hulu as well, and just did a bit of playing with the netbook. T’s much nicer using the larger screen than the 10” screen of the Acer. You’re not going to be playing full games with this adapter, no new FPS or any like that, it won’t be able to handle it, but for most other stuff it works great.
