A Better Look at Things

:

The USB Car Charger Adapter (Dual USB Sockets, 1000mA) arrives in a plastic package with the charger centered on a white, yellow and purple card. The front and back are spartan and list the input and output specs on the front and the instructions on the back of the package.

The Adapter is black with two USB ports at the end opposite the cigarette lighter input. Above and below each port is a light which turns red, when the device is powered. One side of the adapter lists the input and output specs on a white label.

Installation, Testing and Comparison

Installation involves plugging the USB Car Charger Adapter into the cigarette lighter of my car. Once inserted, the two red lights on the device light up indicating that it is now ready to charge my USB device. For testing, I plugged in my iPod Nano and the mini USB connector for my Motorola Bluetooth headset. Both started charging immediately. Very straight forward!!!

Now when I travel, I dont have to worry about my portable USB devices not being charged!

Summary:

This is a great item. The second USB port is a great feature, especially when traveling with family when multiple devices are brought along. If you are a technophile or just have a lot of USB devices, this is a must have item for traveling.
