A Better Look at Things
The packaging; the Notebook cooling pad comes in a nice sturdy box with a picture of the cooling pad right on the front along with some basic specs and features listed as well.
The back of the box has all the specs you saw above listed along with the available colors and the included color checked off.
Opening the package we get our first look at the Brando WorkShop Notebook cooling pad, it is wrapped in plastic for protection and includes a USB cable to connect the pad to your notebook/laptop computer.

The top of the pad is aluminum to help dissipate heat better, there are three fans located in the top, sort of centered, a little label that says ‘USB FAN’ is also found there. The USB cable is about on foot long and is the mini-USB to standard USB type connections.
The three fans are 60mm in size and run at 1,500 RPM at 25dB.
On the front of the Notebook cooling pad is located three LEDs that indicate power and a switch to power it on.
The four port hub is located on the right side with the mini USB connector and an optional AC adapter power supply jack.
On the top of the Notebook cooling pad is located three vents for the fan, they are fairly large and help to cool your laptop.
The bottom of the Notebook Cooling Pad features four large rubber non-slip feet, you can also find the basic specs listed again as well.
Under the listed specs there is a little compartment labeled ‘USB CABLE’, it is used for storing the included USB cable when not in use… (Did I really have to explain that?)
The Notebook Cooling Pad from Brando WorkShop is very sturdy, I was surprised at how well it is made actually, but then again everything I have reviewed so far from Brando has been very high quality.
