Installation, Testing and Comparison

Installation involves plugging the mini USB connector into the end of the hub and then plugging the hub into an open USB port. So easy, a caveman could do it.

For testing, I plugged in various USB devices, including a thumb drive, wireless mouse dongle, external hard drive, and digital camera. The hub performed as advertised running all four devices off a single USB port.

In terms of transfer speed, this hub performs as quickly as any other hub and is dependent on the USB port for the final speed of the interaction between the device and the pc.
