USB Web Camera with Telescope Review

Installation, Testing and Comparison pg3

The spot I was taking the pictures at was actually the spot of the monument I mentioned earlier for the Homestead Works, around me are remnants of the steel mill, so I figured why not take those pictures as well. So here are some steel beams, first taken with my digital camera at normal distance, then zoomed in and then with the USB Camera with telescope. You can see in the picture taken with the USB cam it is much better when not a lot of light is allowed in.

Next I decide to drive down a bit farther to the other side of the monument and see what I could see from there. The railroad bridge is still standing and actually still in use today. I saw some pigeons sitting on top of the bridge and thought that might make a nice test for the USB Camera with Telescope. The first picture is the standard distance, the second is actually optically zoomed all the way and then 2x digital zoomed because I was so far away, the third picture is with the USB Camera and Telescope. In the first and second picture you can see the pigeons actually, sort of, in the USB Camera picture you can see them but you can’t tell what they are if I didn’t tell you, but the detail on the bridge is surprisingly very good.

Next up was an old water tower from the steel mill, same thing here again. First picture is the standard distance, while the second is zoomed and the third is the USB Camera with Telescope. Again the USB Camera with Telescope takes a surprisingly good picture, with nice details actually.
